Specifications: Inline six cylinder, overhead valve, cast iron block, displacement - 235.5 cubic inch, bore and stroke 3-9/16 X 3 15/16 inches, compression ratio 7.5:1, 125 horsepower, four main bearings, hydraulic valve lifters, new aluminum pistons, full pressure lubrication and new high lift camshaft. Carburetor: Rochester BC type one-barrel model 7007200 or Carter one barrel model 2102S. 3.7:1 standard Axle Ratio. The 1954 Chevrolet 235 was standard with powerglide and available in all 1953 Chevy models including the 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air.
