A fresh new 1954 Chevrolet styling outside and inside made Chevrolet even more of a stand out. Then there was
the exciting choice of rich new colors that harmonized with the finer and more colorful interiors!
The new 1954 Chevrolet offered 14 different solid colors, basically the same colors as 1953 Exterior Color Selections, except some were renamed. Two tone color combinations amounted to 13, up from 11 the previous year.
Some exterior body colors were added on March 31, 1954. such as Sungold and two tone combinations - India Ivory/Sungold and Saddle Brown/Shoreline Beige.

The great new Chevrolet for 1954 offers more things more people want than ever before said another advertisement referring to all the exterior color selections, especially for the 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air.

To help identify the 1954 Bel Air series, Chevrolet added a double molding along the rear fender with the name Bel Air and a Chevy crest attached. The double molding insert were usually painted India Ivory or a color that matched two tone models.
